Tangled Bank

The waters of small streams and rivers teem with life — grasses and weeds; fallen leaves; unseen turtles, frogs and countless insects, all growing, feeding, and dying in a rich compost. Wild tangles of trees and vines grow nearby. What attracts my eye are the lines, the reflections, water riffles, lush plant life, and the calligraphy of the vines and treetops.
