I use photography and mixed media with textural layers, line, and muted color to create images that are moody and mysterious. Based on abstract photos and free-hand drawings overlaid and painted with watercolor, I want my images to be familiar but not quite recognizable, capturing the atmospheric feeling of space or a place without representing it. The resulting images often have a micro/macro feel, obscuring the close-up and far away, and with a wide range of references. Contact me to inquire about exhibits or sales.
